I’ve been a musician my entire life: I started piano lessons when I was three and took up violin at age six. I was blessed with natural talent and an ear that gave me perfect pitch, and I spent much of my childhood playing both Western classical and Indian music. I loved performing on stage, particularly as a piano soloist and as a violinist in orchestras. I also dabbled in composing and remixing music, both with old school staff paper and with video games and computers.
I can’t say that I reached my full potential - or even really came close - but music gave me some of the best experiences of my life before I even turned 18:
Traveling to and performing in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Australia as part of the Cincinnati Junior Strings
Twice performing at Carnegie Hall as a piano soloist for medaling in a piano competition
Performing Bengali music on TV in India, and being featured on TV, on the radio, and in the newspaper in Cincinnati as a classical soloist
9 years of orchestra experience across the Cincinnati Junior Strings, Sycamore School Orchestra, and Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra
Recording and publishing a CD of Bengali music with professional Indian musicians in tribute of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam
The past few decades have seen music take a back seat in my life, but I’m trying to find ways to actively bring it back to the forefront, particularly since I’ve passed a significant milestone birthday.
This page will serve as a catalog to all things music in my life, as well as a way to hold myself accountable to make progress going forward.

I recorded this album as a violin soloist, and I also recorded the keyboard accompaniment. I was lucky enough to get to record these with sitar and tabla professionals.
